Claymore Review School Project!!!

Yay!! The Mangaka In You has been updated and it looks so cute!!!!
Click here to check it out!
Also, there is a school project coming soon that I have to write and it will be about the popular manga series called Claymore!
Want to know what initial ideas I have for the review of Claymore? Come and visit us. It's the first post to the left (where the blushing girl pic is) and you can read why I am doing this project and what are my initial thoughts. I have been thinking about making this blog (or website) more reader-friendly. I received a suggestion that I should post drawing tutorials as much as just articles for people to read about manga and Japan.
What do you think? :)

How to Draw a Manga Girl

You don't have to draw a full circle to draw the head of your Manga character. I usually draw sort of like an oval.
Then, I draw the rest the of the head.
At this point the sketch doesn't need to perfect. You can do that later. But having the basics down will help you figure out the rest.
In a different color, draw a line from the top of the head to the chin. Again, it doesn't need to be a straight line. This is more of like a reference.
Then, draw two vertical lines, one crossing the end of the circle and one either at the center of the circle or slightly lower.

Where you draw the vertical lines will greatly affect how your manga character will look. I could later on do a post on the different final looks your character can have depending on where and how you draw the eyes...
